So I am finally backed after three days of hiatus mode. It’s the first day of the Heart Month. Are you excited? I am sure those who have partners to celebrate with are excited already. Others might have plan as to what to do and where to go on the 14th. But for me, I might go out with the little tot after his class. It would be great going out in a date with my little man since the boyfriend is miles away. But anyway, I’d like to share some photos of what keeping me busy last month.

I’ve decided late last year that I should focus on blogging. I know I’ve been a slacker blogger last year to the point that I let my tasks expired in my dashboard without thinking how much I will lost. It’s already too late when I realized that I should avoid and fight the laziness for me to be able to grasp my goal. So this year I aim to be more productive thus doing the tasks assigned to me as soon as I got them. Apart from doing the tasks assigned to me I also aim to get gain back the pagerank that I’ve lost few months ago. I wish and pray that I will have it back the soonest.

If you’re my stalker I am almost certain that you know that last month was also the birthday month of the little tot. Planning, budgeting roaming around from one store to another to look for great deals of party flavours also ate my time. Two weeks before the big day I already started shopping little by little since my cousin who is my shopping partner left for work early last month.

I am just lucky that I personally someone who accept orders of any kinds of cakes. I just need to browse hundreds of photos as to what kind of design I am going to order. Of course I shall also consider my budget, so looking for the perfect cake for the little one is not easy. After few an hours of scanning hundreds of photos I settle of this cake. I just add more cupcakes for I want all the kids to have a cake.

I also attended the first birthday of my cousin’s son. The little tot had fun with his cousins, aunts and uncles. It was raining that day but it doesn’t stop us from attending the birthday party. The little one was over excited that he cried when I told him we might not go to the party because of the weather.

The party went well, aside that I forgot to distribute the party hats before the party begins. Yay, I don’t know why I always forgot the party hats. On his second birthday I also forgot the party hats and found it out few days after the party. This time I remember it while the party is going one so they kids was still able to wear the hats although the party is almost finish. Am gonna keep this hats for future usage.

Nothing much happened to me last month. I was just busy with the little tot's birthday celebration. I am going to post more photos in my other blogs.

Good thing I found a photo of me and the little tot taken during the school's yearly gift giving. The pupils are asked to prepare a gift containing use clothing, toys, toiletries, can goods or noodles. Before the program started I asked the little tot for a photo op with me as a souvenir. Gladly he obeys this time. As you all know the little tot does love to pose for the camera so I always forced him to do it. Hahahaha…

Superb Bracket Wall Speaker

Been busy running offline errands for the past couple of days. Few days ago I was the mall to buy some stuff for my son’s birthday coming Monday. While roaming around the mall to look for the stuff I needed I passed by an appliance store to check how much will it cost me if I buy an electric fan for my room. But what really catch my attention was the speaker wall brackets that were hang in the wall. I feel in love with it. If money is not a question I sure want to own a set of those speakers. I am both a movie and music love so owning a good speaker will be great.

As for music, I have posted in my other blog that I can sing the right tune but I love music. Whenever I listen to my kind of music I always fall asleep. It would be more fun listening to my favourite music if I’ll have a nice speaker. I am sure you I am not alone of wanting to have a super fabulous speaker.

Not The Real Smile

I missed the Ruby Tuesday meme last week. So for me not to forget about it I am posting my share as early as now. I know should post this tomorrow but since I already found a photo to share might as well post it now.

The photo was taken during the little one's school Christmas Party last December. I asked him to give me a nice smile since he is a type of kid who doesn't want to pose when taking picture. I am glad that he smile nicely in this photo although it's not his real smile. I more love his real smile, he is cuter when wearing a real smile.

Thoughts Of A Mom

As I was watching the little tot playing in our bed I realize that he is growing so fast. Other people would tell me that he is kinda big at his age. True indeed compared to the kids I know at his age but I guess it’s also because of the genes that he got from his biological father. In due time he will turn seven years old, he is not a baby anymore. In fact he started asking us not to call him a baby when was turning three years old. He often corrects us to call him Kuya Justin instead of baby Justin. He even doesn’t want me to call him “anak” as he more want I call him Kuya but I patiently explain him the reason why I love to call him “anak” and he understand me now, thanks God. Often times ask myself if I am ready to let go of my baby boy whom I asked for a hug and kiss many times a day and just enjoy watching him growing up. I know, time will come that he may be shy to do it whenever I ask him to give me a hug and kisses. But I am hoping that it not going to be soon for I will surely miss it.

At a young age, he is sometimes mature and would ask me personal questions that I find difficult to answer. I know, as he grow older he will have a lot of questions to ask. I hope and pray that when that time comes I have an answer ready for his questions. Yay, raising a child alone is indeed a tough job yet a very fulfilling job. I am not saying that I am proud to be a single mom as I didn’t dream of being one but I embraced it without any question for I believe God has its own purpose why this has to happen.

Looking back, I can still say that I am happy compared to other single moms out there as I have a family whom I can count when I have problem. I have a very supportive boyfriend who is always there to help and guide me always. How can I forget thanking my greatest PROVIDER, for showering me a lot of blessing although I am not a perfect child? Thank you, Dear Jesus for giving me a loving and thoughtful son and boyfriend, a family and friends to lean on in every curve ball that comes my way.

As a mother it is fulfilling being with the little one in everything that he does and in every step that he takes. Just for instance I always make sure to attend in all his school activities. I know my Mum would also love to go with him when I am not available but even if I have a lot of stuff to finish online I’d always choice to be with my son. As he grows older he has few questions about family. So I tried my best to be with him always so he will not feel that he is different from other kids. He once breaks my heart into pieces when he told me it more fun if he has a papa to play with during family day. But I am glad that a young age he can already understand his situation although he complained once in a while.

Continue To Shine Mr Sunshine

After many days of raining Mr Sunshine finally showed up yesterday and it also today. I do hope it will continue for many days also. I am quite sure we missed the outdoor activities. It will be great going somewhere with our loved ones coming weekend if Mr Sunshine continues shining.

Talking about outdoor activities, I wonder if you tried going camping using RV. As for me, I haven’t seen any but a friend in high school surely tried it. I saw it in her photos in her FB account. I am not just sure if they hire someone for rv repair before heading to the camp site. But while looking at the pictures they seems enjoyed the camping so I guess nothing happened while they are on their way to camp site.

I honestly, I seldom watch television- the reason is that my favourite shows are usually aired when I am talking to my boyfriend or when I am busy blogging. However, it doesn’t mean that I could not watch my favourite shows anymore. I can still watch it without missing a single episode. Synopsis

Maria Hernandez is a charcoal maker who dreams of making furniture in her own shop, much like her mother Sandra, who died years ago in a fire leaving Maria orphaned. Maria grows up with Sandra’s best friend Casilda in barrio Munting Ilog. When Casilda falls ill, Maria is forced to seek help from Father Honorio for added work. This leads her to meet Fernando Dela Vega, the owner of Amore Design, one of the country’s top furniture companies. Fernando takes Maria to work for his family as a maid.

Unknown yet to Maria, Fernando was the former love of her mother Sandra. And that Fernando’s wife Victoria, is Sandra’s former friend and partner. Sandra & Victoria founded Amore designs, but Victoria double-crossed Sandra taking both her boyfriend and ownership of Amore. But before the fire, Sandra had bequeathed her shares to Maria, making Maria owner of 50% of Amore Designs.

Working for the Dela Vegas leads Maria to meet, for the second time, Luis Dela Vega, the eldest of the Dela Vega children among those children are Vanessa and Vladimir. Maria had met and admired Luis before, seeing his work in Viscera, a small furniture shop. But Luis pays to her no mind. Worse, Luis, having had problems with his father Fernando, begins to suspect Maria to be Fernando’s mistress. This through the suspicions of Soraya, his friend who is secretly in love with him. Luis makes Maria fall in love with him, with the intention of hurting Maria and making her leave.

Few moments ago I have a lot of ideas to share for this blog. But when I am about to start this blog post I could not think of a good sentence. The ideas that were in mind a while ago were swept by the wind. I am sure I am not alone in this dilemma. It can happen to anyone. But for blogger like me, it is really annoying when stuff like this happen. It is more annoying when you have a lot of work to do and yet you couldn’t think of a good and appropriate word to use.

On the lighter note, I am glad that this blog is up again. The domain expired the other night. I was about to post an update when I could not open this blog suddenly. I one task this morning because of its on-going DNS propagation in all internet servers worldwide. Good thing I manage to successfully submit the tasks I wrote earlier today so I only have one task to do for this blog.

Being a single Mom that I am, there are times that going out with my son is not easy. Going out with him means another extra budget. So whenever he wants to go out and have fun I would tell him to wait for Mama will save for it. I am just thankful that although he can be demanding and bossy he will always understand me. I understand it when he remind or ask me how I am going on saving for our bonding.

Few months ago, I surprised him and his cousin. We watched the festival in the city. The boys were smiling from ear to ear when I announced it to them a day before the festivities. The little tot jumped for joy when I told him that get to see the star of Captain Barbel (Richard Gutierrez.) I am sharing few photos below and I hope it will give justice that we really enjoyed and had fun on that day.

I slept late last night. I took a nap before talking to the boyfriend online so I guess that was the reason why I wasn’t sleepy after we talk. While hopping from one blog to another I came across a blog post about the unveiling of the new DOT (Department of Tourism) slogan. As we all know, DOT announces to change the former slogan as one of their strategy of marketing our country’s tourist destination to local and foreign tourist. As for me the slogan is just right. Filipinos are known for being happy. Despite the hardships and heartaches that each of us is suffering we always have a smile readied for other people.

Been wanting to travel and visit other places in the country but because of financial difficulties and I’ve other important priorities this dream hasn’t yet materialized. I do hope that one day my dream to travel with the little one and my Mum will come into a reality. As for now, I shall congratulate the Department of Tourism for a job well done.

I’ve been a member of adgitize since last year but because of laziness I missed adgitizing for few months. I just recently decided to come back for good as I want to go back to blogging seriously, I want to blog like I do when I was just starting to blog. But unfortunately Ken Brown decided to close adgitize. I was saddened when I read about it in one of the blog post while I was roaming around the blogosphere. I felt saddened because adigitize really helped boost the traffic of my blogs. I wonder if I can still get my earning on the adgitize although I am just a publisher.

On the other note, now that adgitize is closed I am considering on going back to entrecard. I have been a member of entrecard for sometimes now but I haven’t been checking my account for the past couple of years. I do hope I can still remember my login details, keeping my fingers cross.

So, I am finally joining Orange Tuesday again after missing it for quite sometimes. I am glad that I’ve few photos to share for this meme. As I mentioned in my other blog I accompany the little tot and his cousins to watched Panday 2. The little tot really wants to watch this movie and yesterday was a perfect time because his cousin was here. So off we go to Movie World with my Mum and the kids.

Since my sister and her daughters will be going home that day we decided to watch the first showing. We arrived early, in fact too early that the ticket was still closed. So we waited for about 15 minutes but the kids had fun while waiting for they had a chance to pose for the camera. The little tot is wearing a Moose Gear orange polo that I bought before Christmas.

The kids also had a chance to pose for the camera before the movie starts. The advantage of arriving early because we were the first group to go inside the cinema and luckily no guard was roaming around that time. As you all know camera's are not allowed inside the cinema.

Even at the restroom they ask me to take a photo of them. Good thing I obey thier request because I capture one of thier happy moments together. See even at the restroom they are having a great time.

On Kitchen Improvement

I couldn’t tell how many times I made a blog post about my eagerness to have a kitchen improvement. If money is not in question without a doubt I will start the kitchen improvement I’ve been wanting for quite sometimes now. Random Thoughts And Rants

I really thought I could not update this blog today. I don’t have any idea what to share to my visitors and readers. But then, it’s the first day of 2012 and I could not let this day past without an update. So here I am trying my best to make this blog post valid. For me a valid post has more or less one hundred words. Gratefully my fingers continue to tap the keyboard.

Anyways, another year had past. The previous year was not an easy year for me for I was bombarded with different intrigues made by few individuals who seem to make it their business to ruin other people. I was accused of using the barangay fund by someone who has the record of dishonesty and fraud. Ironic as it was but I learned to accept that the person who is guilty by doing something is the one who is good in accusing and making lies. I've accepted whole heartedly everything that happened to me and my family, for I know God has the reason why everything happened. I believe in karma, I always believe that karma is just around the corner waiting for the right and perfect time to attack. So beware guys for your karma, think of what you’ve done into others for it will surely go back to you.

To someone who makes it her business to laugh out loud whenever I pass and make some gossip referring to me when I am around beware lady for you never know your karma is starting to eat you. You don’t have any right to do what you are doing to me because you are worse compare to me. You did a lot of bad stuff secretly and openly. So look at the mirror, examine yourself if you are perfect enough gossip to about other people.

On Christmas Party

For some reasons I missed joining any of the weekly colour meme last week. I was engrossed for my late Christmas shopping, gift wrapping and doing online tasks. I really thought I could not join this week too but gladly I login to my FB account while chatting to my love so I found out that the Pink Fridays is up, already. It’s the last Friday of year 2011 and I won’t miss it.

Anyway here are the photos I am going to share. The photos were taken during the school Christmas Party of the little one.

The little tot chit chatting to his classmate before the exchange gift start. If I am right one of his classmate asked him what is his gift to his Manita and since I was few steps away heard when he disclose his gift. Kids sometimes don't know how to keep a secret, LOL.

Giving his gift to his shy Manita. I saw it when the little girl opened the gift. I smiled when I saw the little girl smile when she saw what's inside the gift. It's a Barbie doll. As for the little tot he got an Angry bird shirt but unfortunately it's doesn't fit him. He is keeping the shirt for remembrance. I also noticed that Angry birds stuff dominated this year. I've seen some kids holding many kinds of Angry birds things.

Unpredictable Weather

The weather these days is indeed unpredictable. As I’ve mentioned in my other blog I will be with my cousin to buy the groceries and other stuff for the coming New Year. The sun was shining brightly on our way to the mall but it was raining hard when we were on our way to downtown. It is really a bummer because we didn’t bring an umbrella so we were force to walk under the small rain.

Anyway, a day before New Year, are you ready for another year? I do hope the coming New Year will bring us a good vibes in everything that we do. And let us give thanks to the one above for giving us another new year to spend.

Flooding

As of this typing it’s already flooding here my place and other part of the municipality. I am quite sure that the neighbouring towns are also flooding. In fact I witness the flooding in the near barangay. I and my friend were riding in his motorbike when we decided to go back because the water is already flowing in the road and we noticed it’s not safe, already. My younger brother told us a few hours ago that few towns are now impassable due to floods.

Anyways, there are already few families that are evacuated in our Barangay Hall. I do hope that the rain will stop so that the flood will subside real soon. I am sharing few photos taken a while ago.

After few days of not updating this blog I am finally posting a new blog post. I am going to downtown today with my Aunt who arrived yesterday from London. I should be going to downtown early today to buy present for my godchildren but my Aunt asked me to accompany her so here I am waiting for her and while waiting for her I decided to blog and finish few tasks that I got.

On the lighter note, the little tot is enjoying the toy he got from my Aunt. I hope he stop bugging me to buy him the Bumble Bee transformer as a gift this holiday season. He is also asking for a fire truck. My Aunt grants her request, already.

A Rainy Saturday Random Thought

It’s been raining since yesterday. I’ve heard that there is a tropical depression here in my other part of the world. I am glad that although it was raining cats and dogs earlier I able to attend the second day mass of the nine morning masses. I am kinda sleepy but I am going to attend a Pre Jordan seminar since my card is already expired. Yes, I will be a god mother again this time for a dear friend way back in college really hope the rain will stop soon.

On the other note I am almost done with my Christmas shopping. I’ve been shopping for two days in a row for the little tot, nephews and nieces. But I could not complain although it is very tiring for when I saw the glow in their eyes I feel rejuvenated. As for me, I will have my present few weeks from now. It’s a Nikon camera and a channel perfume that my boyfriend bought in the United States of America. Yay, I should not reveal it here but my excitement could not stop me from sharing it. So while my present is not yet in my hand I shall buy few stuff for myself as a gift from the boyfriend, also. Am I a pampered girlfriend or not? You’ll be the judge..hehehehe..

First Mall Experienced Of My Cousin

Okay, I know I’ve mentioned how proud I am to the little tot. He is thoughtful and understanding in so many ways. Just like when my cousin who is few months older told him that she haven’t tried going to the mall and that she haven’t see a real escalator and more so haven’t tried eating in Jollibee. Our family is not from a well off family so it was not a surprised when the little tot told me about what my cousin told him. I thought the little one forget about what my cousin shared but I was wrong for he remember it one weekend.

Every time I am lazy to clean our yard on weekends I always ask this cousin to do the job and give her ten pesos after. She will then keep it for her snacks coming Monday. However the little tot changed it when he asked me if we can tag along my cousin in going to the mall so she will see a real escalator. So I give in after he agreed to my conditions.

So off we go to the mall with my cousin. The little tot is so excited and happy for his aunt to the point that he keeps on telling to his Aunt not to be afraid and just enjoy the experience for he is there to guide and help her.. Huh, for a six years old to talk like this, I am sure if you’re a mother you will be proud like I am.

I Pampared Granny And Mum's Nails...

Geez.. My hands are pretty tired now. The reason- I pampered my Mum’s nails and granny’s nails. Yes, you read it right guys. I don’t considered cosmetology as my hidden talent for I’ve been doing this for my family for quite sometimes now. My aunt doesn’t allow someone to touch her feet and hand except me. She not even allows my cousin to do her manicure and pedicure. Whenever I do her nails I get imported nail polish and other cosmetology stuffs in return.

As for myself I do visit a salon in the mall for my manicure and pedicure because I am not comfortable doing it myself especially my toenails. But if my cousin is here I let him do my nails. I own few imported and local nail polish so why spend some bucks if someone can do it for me.

Got a call from the boyfriend to let me know that he is on his way to the party he is going to attend. He told me, he will call me for chat if he arrives home early or before 1 am my time (we have 8 hour difference). I should be sleeping now but then I am not sleepy yet and the more that I could not go back to sleep because I am having a cup of coffee as of this typing (silly me). Oh well, I took a nap earlier so guess that is the reason why I am having a hard time going back to sleep.

On the other hand, someone told me that I am good because I don’t nag. I don’t know how I am going to put this into writings. But when I am mad or disappointed I don’t actually talk. Yes, the boyfriend doesn’t like this attitude and I don’t think I can change it. I guess this person simply forgot my attitude. But anyway, it does not matter to me anymore. And I figured am not in any position to nag so why would I nag, lol. One more reason why I don’t nag because I am left without choice..

Jam-Packed Mall

Gracious, I was at the mall earlier today and the mall is jam-packed of shoppers and window shoppers. When we arrived at the mall I saw a long queue at the entrance. I was not surprised since it’s a weekend, a day for families to bond. But mostly I saw some mommies with their children at the children sections trying to find something for their kids. I smiled when I saw those kids’ eyes for they are excited for their new clothes and toys.

As for me, I was also at the toys and children section but not to shop. I am just window shopping so when I have the budget I don’t need to roam around for I already know what to get and where to get it. Since the little one, the nephew and niece was with me I already know what clothes they want. I only need to ask my younger sister to come over to help me with her daughter’s clothes.

I have mentioned that I want to go back to blogging seriously, I when I say seriously, I want to be an active blogger like I used to be when I was just starting to blog. I know I have been lazy and procrastinating a lot for the past months or a year perhaps. Yesterday, I want to have a productive day so I opt to start the blog I planned to open few months ago. He is now on his way to his country, Iceland. Been watching the screen for few minutes now but I couldn’t think of a good post, I mean a post that has sense. I know, most of my post are non-sense posts as I am just putting into words anything that comes my mind, what I am currently doing and what makes me busy.

Oh well, when I started blogging I never thought that I can earn from it, back then, I only want to have my own site to maintain. If I am to count how many blogs I create for the past few years I could not give the right number. I remember having a blog in Friendster, I guess it’s my first blog. I also have a blog in tripod, well, I don’t considered it a blog as I only posted few love stories of my online friends there. Although I already have a blog in Friendster and tripod I didn’t stop my search for it seems I haven’t found what I am looking for. Until one day, I found this site where I can create my on blog and I am happy with what I’ve found.

I’ve been blogging for more than four years yet I know I still have a lot of things to know. And although I considered myself as a struggling blogger I am proud of it as I’ve thought few people to blog and they are also earning from it like I am. Isn’t fulfilling knowing that in one way or another you were able to help someone to earn online?

Anyways, if you are considering on having your own blog, I urge you to ask yourself the following questions I found online.

Oh, for some reasons I have a very bad day. And it started very early. I found out that my other site has been hacked and I could not open it as got an anti-virus warning that my site is malicious site. I am left worrying now and I don’t know what I do. The photo I am sharing for this week for Mellow Yellow and Ruby Tuesday is not my belongings. My cousin owns it. He knows I am into a weekly meme so as soon as he get home from downtown before he left for Cavite few days ago he showed me the item he purchased, an angry wallet.

Yay, the forgetful in me is striking, again. Yesterday I took photos of the finished costume that my cousin and a friend for someone that is a candidate for a beauty pageant. I already uploaded few photos in my cousin’s facebook account but the costume was not yet done when I took the photos. My cousin promised to the mother that he will upload another batch of photos as soon as the gown is done. I am surprised when I saw the filipiniana dress yesterday for I never thought that my friend can make a wonderful costume out of paper. Oh well, I know he has the talent but it’s my first time to see a gown made of paper or should I say covered with paper. I already saw his piece made of corn peel and it was awesome.

I do hope I can upload few photos of the costume soon. I shall ask my friends approval first before uploading it in any of my blog.

Ate Out With Cousin and Friend

Yesterday I was with my cousin and friend. I withdraw the money that was sent to my cousin in my account. It was almost lunch when we arrive at the bank where I have an account so after withdrawing the money we opt to have our launch before we roaming around the downtown to search for the stuff needed by my cousin and friend to make a gown made of paper.

While we were deciding on where to have our lunch we passed by a sea foods restaurant and we joked that we have our lunch in this restaurant. The restaurant is famous for its expensive sea foods menus. I wonder if I can dine in one of the Seafood Restaurants In Houston one day. If I can I am thinking how much it will cost me. She Is Coming..

My younger sister is coming for a visit. I got a message from her that they are on my way and they will be here before lunch. My Mum has been waiting for her for few weeks now as the husband of my aunt who is in London now asked my Mum if she could clean their house. Since I could help my Mum because I have allergy my younger sister will be the one to help my Mum.

Good thing my sister is here so I could ask her what she wants for her children for Christmas. My boyfriend would pamper my nephew and nieces during Christmas and would give them cakes on their birthdays. I am uberly lucky to have him as a boyfriend although we have our own ups and downs in our relationship like other couples.

Classes will resume tomorrow for the little one, as for my nephew his classes resumed last week. However, it’s a holiday today here in my other part the world so both my son and nephew are enjoying the long weekend. As for me, I had a long nap this afternoon so I am quite sure I will not fall asleep while talking to the boyfriend later today. He is flying to United States tomorrow for a vacation and he promised me that he is going to buy my Christmas present in the US. Yay, I am getting excited, really.

Often times I wonder what’s in the bingo game that lots of people loves to play it. I have tried playing it before but I did not feel the excitement of what the bingo fanatic felt. The little one is uber excited to put up our Christmas tree. He knew it that right after the All Saints Day and All Souls Day started to put the Christmas décor.

For this year, I am not planning of buying new Christmas décor. I figured I already have enough after buying some Christmas balls last year. Oh well, I might need to buy new Christmas lights but I still need to check the old ones.

On the other hand, I and my cousin visited the tomb of our love ones last night together with our other friends. The rain was pouring on our way to the cemetery but gladly it stopped immediately. After offering a short prayer we decided to light few candle at the chapel and offer a short prayer. I noticed that liquors were not allowed inside the cemetery so I didn’t see any group drinking unlike the previous years.

For four years now, the little one, my nephew and nieces usually get a gift of their choice from my boyfriend. Few weeks before Christmas I will start asking them what they want for Christmas and after I would check how much it will cost us. It kind of expensive but I know the kids will be happy upon opening their gifts.

Last Christmas, we surprised my nephew and nieces for they thought it was only my son who has a gift from my boyfriend since they don’t see any gift for them beneath our tree. They don’t have any idea that a day before Christmas I and my younger sister buy the gifts they want and hide it our nieghbor’s house. On Christmas day we ask them to pick it up without giving any idea what they are going to pick up and when they go back we saw their smile from ear to ear. It was fulfilling for my boyfriend seeing the kids happy. I also buy present for some kids in our place as my way of thanking for the bountiful blessing I receiving last year. For this year, I do hope I can do it again for I want to Buy cheap RC Cars for the boys and dolls for the girls.

As for my nieces, nephew and son I don’t know yet as to what they want for this coming Christmas I hope they won’t ask another remote controlled toys as my son and nephew already few of it.

A Day Full Of Fun..

Last week I failed to join the fun in the weekly meme's the I recently joined, a lot of mother things have kept me preoccupied. Although I always check my blogs I haven’t had the time or the energy to update all my site as much as wish to do it every day. I just have other more important stuff to deal with such as attending the needs of the little one. Truly being a mother is not a stress-free job but like I said in my other blog it’s one of the high paying and the most rewarding job that anyone can have.

For two days I’ve been a accompanying the little one as their school turns eight years old. It may be a tiring two days for the pupils and the parents but I am pretty sure we all had fun. And last night, the pupils, faculty and staff have finally presented their pieces. I myself witnessed how they kids enjoyed and having fun while dancing on the stage. Our kids may not perform perfectly on stage but we are still happy and proud of our kids, parents eh.

I was in the downtown area with the little one yesterday afternoon. As I’ve mentioned in my other blog I need to buy something for the little one. I am glad that I still have ample of time to do it before I run out of time. After buying the stuff I needed for the little one we headed to the mall as requested of course by no other than, the little one. When we arrived at the mall there was an on-going audition for a reality show, while watching a girl grasps my attention, well it is not actually the girl but the custom tee she was wearing. Does the phrase “I SHALL RETURN” ring a bell? Oh well, today is the day when General General Douglas MacArthur and his men landed at Red Beach to fulfilled his popular promised and uttered “I HAVE RETURN”.

As of this typing I heard a helicopters coming back and forth that is when I remember today is the 67th Anniversary of Leyte Landing. Leyte Landing is an annual celebration in Leyte to honor the men and women who laid down their lives to end enemy occupation of our country. Only if I have nothing much to do today it will be an honor witnessing this memorable event of our country.

The President of the Philippine Benigno Simeon "Ninoy" Aquino is only one of the well known visitors to grace the event.

It is located in Candahug, a barangay of the municipality of Palo in the province of Leyte, part of the Visayas. Also known as the MacArthur Landing Memorial Park, the memorial consists of larger-than-life bronze statues of the general with other men, including then Philippine president Sergio Osmeña, Jr., standing in a manmade pool.

The memorial was erected in tribute to MacArthur’s fulfillment of his promise to return to the Philippines after it was occupied by the Japanese during World War II in the Philippines. The Japanese Occupation of the Philippines ended soon after MacArthur landed at Red Beach on October 20, 1944 with 225,000 troops and 600 ships. The anniversary of this event is commemorated annually at the park with a reenactment of the famous landing, attended by local and foreign dignitaries.

At the age of 32, there are times that I wonder what it would be living in my own with the little one. I am not shy to admit that I have some problems to dwell and most of them are money matters. I often think of running away from those financial difficulties but then I have my son to consider and I am sure the boyfriend won’t be happy if I well. I do have a lot of stuff to complain but I always end up asking myself, do I have the right to complain?

Yes, my life is not perfect; I have a hyper active son from my previous relationship. As I walk the journey of being a single mom I could not stop myself of committing mistakes. My only consolation is I always learn something from those mistakes and yes I am proud to be a mother although there are times that I wish I am not alone on raising my son. In spite of what I am dealing right now, for some reasons I still consider myself lucky compared to others. I have my son, my family (although they are giving me headache sometimes), my boyfriend who is always there to support me, friends. I can not mentioned it all, but you know who you are. My detractors for they are the reasons for me to continue fighting.

Anyways, enough of this drama it’s Tuesday today. A time for Ruby and Orange Tuesday, as a browse through my photo albums I found this photo. For my Orange Tuesday share, it’s the new loot I got for the little one. I bought it three weeks ago at Children’s place. It is quite pricey but the little one is a Ben10 lover and the quality is also good. He was just lucky that time that the Mama in me wants to spoil him. As for the tumbler I buy it because of the quality.

If there is one thing that I’d love to do as I am typing this post is to take a bubble bath in a tub. But since we don’t own a bath tub at home I shall settle on dreaming how it would be soaking in the tub.

I was personally invited by Mommy Rubz the host of the Friday Pink Fridays but because of being forgetful I always failed to join the weekly meme. I know I am late on posting my share for this week but I could not let this week passed without joining the meme. Good thing I found a nice photo to share for this weekly photo meme while I was browsing my personal facebook account.

The photo was taken during my grandmother’s (mother side) 80th birthday last April 15. We decided to give her a birthday bash as a thanks giving for reaching this far. Each of her children (family) brings their own foods to share.

The celebrant has two cakes in fact. The other one was personally made by her niece (daughter of her older sister) who happened to manage (before) a bakery own by granny’s older sister.

Woot!! This is my first time to join the Ruby Tuesday weekly meme. I and my friend Iris were planning to watch Monte Carlo at the nearest mall in my place but for some reasons we failed to watch it. I was a bit disappointed for I know the movie is nice based on the trailer. The wonder of internet technology made it possible for me to watch it. Go back to as to why I off from the World Wide Web because of notebook issues. Just when I thought I can finish everything that I need to finish our landline phone lost its dial tone. Unfortunately I waited from almost two days before it was fixed. I glad that it is fixed now I can continue with what I usually do every day- that is chatting, facebooking, blogging and just randomly surfing to any site I want to visit.

Anyways, as I mentioned in my previous post I will be uber busy this week. My day started very early today as I need to prepare the food I and the little one will bring to the field trip. Last Friday I could not connect to the internet. I called my internet provider but to no avail. I always end up with the different errors. The plan of uninstalling and installing new yahoo messenger did not materialize since I was able to login an hour before talking to the boyfriend. Back From Hiatus Mode

Tehey! I am finally back after being hiatus for few days. The reason- I was at my younger sister’s house to attend the first birthday of my nephew and god child Danly. The plan of going home the following day didn’t happen because I had bad stomach. I guess it because of eating too much, lol. As for what happened to the celebration I will make another post for it. I hope to do it soon. I might as well upload few photos in this blog and my other blogs that is if laziness won’t eat my butt.

Proud Of The Little One

As I have mentioned in previous post few months ago, I am a bit worried how the little one will do in school since I let him escape the preparatory level. He is not a studious type of pupil. I also don’t want to force him to study when he is not in the mood to do it. I was anxious this morning before going to school to attend the meeting and at the same time it is also their showing card schedule.

All the worries were gone after seeing his report card. He ranked fourth in his class and I am so proud of him.Isn't it rewarding to watch kids enjoy learning? It is never too early to prepare for top universities, online or otherwise. It all starts in elementary school.

It is not a secret that I am a single mum and the breadwinner of the family. I don't have a regular work or a regular income. Oh, where did the month of August go? It seems that is was only yesterday when I was talking a lot of our upcoming town fiesta and now I am getting excited of my favorite time of the year which is Christmas time.
